POMFRET – A 93-year-old Fredonia woman has passed away from injuries sustained in a vehicle crash last week in the Town of Pomfret.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched with the Fredonia Fire Department to a stretch of Van Buren Road Tuesday afternoon for the reported two vehicle collision.
At the time, Elizabeth Abram sustained minor injuries and was flown from the scene to ECMC in Buffalo.
On Friday, deputies say the Erie County Medical Examiner’s Office contacted deputies reporting that Abram succumbed to her injuries sustained in the accident.
Deputies say the other driver involved was not hurt.
