Duo Charged In Armed Home Invasion Of Conewango Home

CONEWANGO – Two Falconer residents are facing charges in connection with an armed home invasion robbery in the Town of Conewango.  

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday that 43-year-old Zaid Mendoza and 38-year-old Desiray Corrigan were arrested Monday by Ellicott Police following an abduction investigation.

It is alleged the pair broke into a home, with Mendoza armed with a handgun, and stole property. No injuries were reported as a result of the alleged crime.











Investigators were able to recover the stolen property during the duo’s arrest.

Both are charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary, among other crimes.

Mendoza was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail while Corrigan was released with an appearance ticket.
