Watson reportedly told troopers he was adjusting boxes inside of his vehicle before the crash and was not paying attention to the roadway.

Police say Watson was taken to UPMC Hamot Hospital via medial helicopter, while two 44-year-olds inside of the vehicle struck were taken to Hamot via ambulance.

An investigation into the incident continues, however police suspect Watson was driving under the influence of drugs. Investigators say the man has a history of a previous drug arrest.
