Chautauqua County’s Average Gas Price Drops Four Cents From Last Week

JAMESTOWN – While gas prices remain high across the region and nation, the price hike felt in recent weeks is starting to let up in our area.

Across Chautauqua County, the average price for a gallon of gas dropped four cents in one week, with AAA reporting the price Tuesday at $4.33.

As for Cattaraugus and Warren Counties, the average prices remain a bit higher, at $4.31 and $4.39 respectively.











Meanwhile, New York State’s average dropped 13 cents since last Monday from $4.49 to $4.36, with the average price nationwide dropping eight cents in seven days from $4.32 to $4.24.
