JAMESTOWN – The second out of three city wide clean-up events has officially been announced for Saturday June 11th.

The clean up event employs the help of community members to take up action and help clean up specific areas, for this event, city leaders would like to focus on the east side area.

Changing it up this year, the city has condensed the amount of official clean up events down to three, from seven last year. The city is also allowing participants to pick and choose where they want to clean up in hopes of more community support.

The Department of Development asks for all who wants to show their Community PRIDE to lend a hand then to head over to the Jamestown Pride Festival.

The clean up event will be on Saturday June 11th from 8 a.m. until noon. Meeting in the parking lot behind the Winsor Street Dollar General.
