JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – One person was hurt following a shooting on Jamestown’s southside.
Jamestown Police Officers were called to the intersection of Newland Avenue and Park Street around 9 p.m. Tuesday night.
The victim was taken to UPMC Chautauqua Hospital via a private vehicle before EMS crews arrived on scene. Initially, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Detectives continue to investigate the incident. An update is expected to be provided on Wednesday.
