Domestic Dispute Leads to Criminal Mischief Charges

(WNY News Now) – In the early hours of November 14, 2023, a domestic dispute on the Westside of Jamestown resulted in the arrest of 20-year-old woman who now faces charges of Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree.

Jamestown – At 5:35 A.M. on November 14, 2023, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd platoon responded to a Westside address following reports of a domestic dispute. Upon reaching the scene, officers interviewed the victim who alleged that Saidy C. Bolya, 20, had damaged property during the course of the altercation.

According to the victim, Bolya, a 20-year-old female, had broken two windows in a door. Responding  law enforcement placed Bolya under custody without any reported incidents. She was subsequently transported to the Jamestown City jail and is being held pending arraignment.


The charges against Bolya include Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree, a legal classification indicating intentional property damage.
