(WNY News Now) – Chautauqua County, NY – On February 11, 2024, two Chautauqua County men were arrested for making punishable false written statements during a Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office investigation on Dye Rd in the Town of Villenova.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted an inquiry into an incident on Dye Rd, Villenova, where James W. Lewellyn (43) and Ricky E. Vento (50) provided written statements. Subsequently, it was revealed that both individuals knowingly presented false information related to the ongoing investigation. Charges were filed under PL. 210.45, making a punishable false written statement.
Both Lewellyn and Vento are scheduled to appear in the Town of Villenova Court.
