(WNY News Now) – WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) announced that the North Chautauqua Lake Sewer District will receive $2,000,000 for needed sewer system improvements as part of H. Res. 4366, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024. This legislation passed the House today in a vote of 339 to 85. This project will upgrade existing failing, antiquated infrastructure and help create capacity for future district expansions.
“I’m proud to secure $2 million for North Chautauqua Lake Sewer District to upgrade their sewer system infrastructure,” said Congressman Langworthy. “This investment is important for addressing the immediate needs of our community and ensuring a cleaner, healthier environment for current and future generations. By modernizing our infrastructure, we not only improve public health but also lay the groundwork for economic growth and development in our region.
