(WNY News Now) – WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) announced that the North Chautauqua Lake Sewer District will receive $2,000,000 for needed sewer system improvements as part of H. Res. 4366, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024. This legislation passed the House today in a vote of 339 to 85. This project will upgrade existing failing, antiquated infrastructure and help create capacity for future district expansions.

“I’m proud to secure $2 million for North Chautauqua Lake Sewer District to upgrade their sewer system infrastructure,” said Congressman Langworthy. “This investment is important for addressing the immediate needs of our community and ensuring a cleaner, healthier environment for current and future generations. By modernizing our infrastructure, we not only improve public health but also lay the groundwork for economic growth and development in our region. I’m grateful for my strong partnership with local officials in Chautauqua County and will continue to work with them to deliver results for the Southern Tier.
