(WNY News Now) – Niagara Falls, New York – The Niagara Aerospace Museum in Niagara Falls, New York, teams up with NASA to offer four days of educational fun leading up to the solar eclipse, featuring expert presentations and family-friendly activities.
In anticipation of the solar eclipse, the Niagara Aerospace Museum is partnering with NASA to host a series of events from April 4th to 7th. NASA specialists will deliver presentations on various topics, including solar activity, deep space exploration, and the Artemis mission’s return to the moon.
The collaboration will kick off with a press conference on March 21st, led by Board President Don Erwin and Executive Director Lindsey Lauren Visser. Alongside the presentations, the museum will offer free admission, children’s activities, and an exclusive line of eclipse-themed merchandise.
The schedule includes engaging presentations such as “Building Blocks to Blastoff” with Launch Site Integration Engineer Josiah Ruelas and “Solar Eclipses” by NASA expert David Cheney. Events run throughout the weekend, with docent-led tours available on April 9th.
All events are free, but pre-registration is required. The Niagara Aerospace Museum, one of eight official NASA partner locations in the area, aims to inspire interest in science and space exploration among visitors, particularly youth considering careers in STEM fields.
