Single Vehicle Crash on RT 394 Leaves One Dead, Two Seriously Injured

On the evening of June 4, 2024, at approximately 6:49 PM, a serious motor vehicle accident occurred on RT 394 near Carpenter Pringle Road in the Town of North Harmony. Deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a single vehicle rollover involving a 2018 white SUV.

The SUV, which was traveling eastbound, veered off the road, causing it to overturn. Emergency responders arrived promptly, but despite their efforts, one of the three female occupants, aged 19, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two women, aged 22 and 19, sustained serious injuries and were transported to UPMC Hamot for medical treatment.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the incident to determine the cause of the accident. Further details, including the identities of the victims and any potential charges, have not yet been released.
