Celebrating Niagara Falls High School Students’ Cinematic Debut
The inaugural Grey Area Film Festival is set to illuminate the creativity and dedication of Niagara Falls High School students on June 13, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Capitol Theatre, Niagara Falls. This groundbreaking event provides a stage for students to debut their original short films, created through months of intensive learning and collaboration.

Since March, students have delved into the complexities of filmmaking, gaining hands-on experience in scriptwriting, directing, cinematography, and editing. Their hard work culminates in seven original short films, each showcasing their unique perspectives and artistic talents.
The festival, a formal red carpet affair, promises an evening rich with entertainment and inspiration. Attendees will not only enjoy the films but also engage directly with the young filmmakers during post-screening Q&A sessions, offering a deeper understanding of their creative journeys and the narratives behind their work.
Admission to the Grey Area Film Festival is free, with the first 50 attendees receiving complimentary popcorn and beverages. Doors will open at 5:30 PM, and screenings commence at 6:30 PM. Additional refreshments will be available, and early arrival is recommended to secure seating.
