Man Fatally Stabbed on Lincoln Avenue in Early Morning Attack
SYRACUSE, NY – In the early hours of Saturday, June 15th, 2024, the Syracuse Police Department responded to a distressing incident on the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. At approximately 2:38 AM, officers were dispatched following a report of a male stabbed. Upon arrival, they found a 28-year-old man with apparent stab wounds, lying unconscious and not breathing.
Despite the officers’ prompt resuscitation efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The tragedy has left the local community in shock and mourning as authorities work to uncover the circumstances leading to this fatal event.
