(WNY News Now) – Syracuse – On Friday, August 23rd, Syracuse Police Officers responded to a distress call at the intersection of South Salina Street and Temple Street. Arriving on the scene at approximately 4:36 p.m., officers found an adult male in his 40s suffering from a severe stab wound to his neck.
The victim was immediately transported to Upstate University Hospital. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, the man tragically succumbed to his injuries.
This incident has sparked a homicide investigation, which remains active and ongoing. Syracuse Police are urging anyone with information that could assist in solving this case to come forward.
