(WNY News Now) – BUFFALO, N.Y. – A Jamestown man has been sentenced to 66 months in prison after being convicted of methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute.
Willie C. Graham, 44, of Jamestown, NY, was sentenced on Thursday by U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr. following multiple drug-related arrests and a federal investigation. The conviction stems from a series of events involving methamphetamine, fentanyl, and other illicit substances.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Donna M. Duncan, who prosecuted the case, detailed the timeline of Graham’s criminal activity, beginning with a September 6, 2023, traffic stop. During that incident, Jamestown Police officers found multiple items of drug paraphernalia and approximately 29 grams of fentanyl on Graham’s person.
Graham’s criminal behavior escalated on March 2, 2024, when he was a passenger in a vehicle that fled from law enforcement officers during a traffic stop. A search of the car resulted in the recovery of 12 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and $1,134 in cash.
On April 30, 2024, Graham was arrested once again after Jamestown Police officers found him in possession of 53 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and $185. Additionally, Graham had 10 assorted bank and benefit cards, some belonging to individuals other than himself.
The case was the result of an investigation conducted by the Jamestown Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The Jamestown Police Department, led by Chief Timothy Jackson, worked alongside the FBI, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Matthew Miraglia, to bring the case to trial.
