(WNY News Now) – SALAMANCA, NY – A Steamburg man was taken into custody on Saturday evening after authorities executed a bench warrant.
According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested Jared C. Jacobs, 33, at a residence on East State Street in Salamanca around 5:50 p.m. on March 16, 2025. Jacobs had an active warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Probation.
Following his arrest, Jacobs was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Salamanca City Court later this week. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
