(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – A Jamestown man was taken into custody early Thursday following a domestic dispute on the city’s northside.

At approximately 1:14 a.m. on March 20, 2025, officers from the third platoon responded to a reported physical domestic dispute. Upon investigation, authorities determined that 35-year-old Marcus A. McAffee had allegedly shoved the victim, who had an active order of protection against him.

McAffee was arrested at the scene and transported to the Jamestown City Jail without incident. He has been charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree and is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
