(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY – A Jamestown man was taken into custody early Tuesday morning after allegedly violating multiple orders of protection.

According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers responded to a West Side address at approximately 3:38 a.m. on March 26 for a report of an unwanted male. Upon arrival, officers found 38-year-old Jose E. Roman outside the residence of three individuals whom he was legally required to avoid due to existing protection orders.

Roman was arrested without incident and transported to the city jail. He has been charged with three counts of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree and is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
