(WNY News Now) – On June 26, 2025, a fight in the Town of Ellery led to the arrest of a Broadview, Ohio resident charged with menacing and property damage.

CHATAUQUA COUNTY, N.Y. — Deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported altercation between two men on June 26, 2025, at approximately 7:58 p.m. in the Town of Ellery.

Investigation revealed that Andrzej D. Leszczak, 43, of Broadview, Ohio, allegedly threatened harm to another individual and caused damage to property during the incident. As a result, Leszczak was arrested and charged with Menacing in the Third Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree.

Leszczak was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellery court to address the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
