(WNY News Now) – Jamestown Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred on Monday, November 17, 2025, at approximately 8:08 a.m. at the intersection of Cole Avenue and Whitehill Avenue.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers responded to reports that a Panama Central School District bus had struck a 4-year-old female child. Patrol officers were already in the area and immediately attempted to provide first aid upon arrival.
The child was transported to UPMC Chautauqua at WCA Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The Jamestown Police Department is being assisted in the ongoing investigation by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Accident Reconstruction Team and the New York State Police.
