JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — February 18, 2026 — What began as a local startup challenging traditional approaches to electrical safety has evolved into a growing leadership team focused on innovation, prevention, and community engagement.
B.IR.T Technology, founded in Jamestown by Blake Robert McAffee, is working to shift the electrical safety industry from a reactive model — one that responds after failure — to a proactive system built around real-time monitoring and prevention.
“Most safety systems wait for something to go wrong,” McAffee said. “We believe power should be understood as it’s happening — and managed before problems arise.”
As product development advanced, so did the company’s leadership structure.
A Strong Foundation From Day One
A key figure in the company’s early growth has been Co-Founder David Cass, who has played a driving role in overcoming financial hurdles tied to patents, prototyping, and production mold development.
From securing intellectual property protection to navigating the costly transition from design to manufacturing, Cass has been instrumental in helping the company move forward.
“Financing innovation is rarely simple,” those close to the company note. “David has been there from day one, helping ensure the ideas didn’t just stay ideas.”
His involvement in addressing patent filings, production mold investments, and early-stage capital challenges has helped solidify the company’s operational foundation.
Expanding the Leadership Team
The company’s growth now includes several additional leaders contributing to operations, strategy, and outreach.
Mackenzie Bergey of Falconer serves as Co-Owner, bringing a background in Math and Science and ongoing business studies. Her analytical perspective supports long-term planning and modernization efforts.
Avante Hicks of Jamestown also serves as Co-Owner, combining his Criminal Justice studies at Hilbert College with collegiate athletics. His discipline and teamwork have strengthened the company’s public-safety-driven mission.
Devyn Stoll of Jamestown serves as Co-Founder and has been involved since the company’s earliest stages. After initial business challenges, Stoll and the team pivoted toward electrical safety — a move that reshaped the company’s direction.
Curtis Tanner of Jamestown serves as Co-Owner, drawn by the company’s commitment to reimagining existing systems rather than simply refining them.
Greace Baez-Vazquez of Jamestown serves as Co-Owner and plays a central role in community engagement and education initiatives, helping connect the company’s mission with families and local residents.
Community Awareness and Local Collaboration
Beyond product development, B.IR.T Technology is placing increased emphasis on community awareness.
As part of that effort, the company plans to host several raffles and public engagement events in collaboration with local businesses throughout Jamestown and surrounding areas.
These collaborations will feature one-of-one collectible pieces created in partnership with participating businesses — highlighting both the company’s brand and the support it has received locally.
The raffles are designed to be both fun and community-centered, serving as a way to give back while showcasing the network of local entrepreneurs rallying behind the company’s mission.
“We’ve received a lot of support from this community,” McAffee said. “We want to reflect that support back.”
Building From Jamestown Outward
While B.IR.T Technology’s ambitions extend beyond Western New York, company leaders emphasize that building locally remains central to their identity.
The company has filed multiple patents related to electrical safety monitoring and plug technology, which are currently under review. Prototype development and production mold preparation are currently underway.
The team believes innovation and advanced product development can begin in Jamestown — and scale outward without losing local roots.
As the leadership team grows and community partnerships expand, B.IR.T Technology appears focused on more than product development. The company is positioning itself as a long-term contributor to both industry advancement and local economic growth.
For Jamestown, that may represent more than a startup story — it signals a homegrown company working to build something lasting.
