(WNY News Now) – A 25-year-old Freedom resident has been charged with multiple offenses, including grand larceny, following a stolen property investigation conducted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office in Little Valley.
LITTLE VALLEY, NY — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Freedom man was arrested Friday evening following an investigation into stolen property.
According to Sheriff Eric A. Butler, deputies arrested Brandon M. Davis, 25, of Freedom, on March 6, 2026, at approximately 7:14 p.m. The arrest followed a police investigation into a larceny complaint at 301 Court Street in Little Valley.
Authorities allege that Davis was involved in the theft of property and provided false information during the course of the investigation.
Davis has been charged with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, Petit Larceny, False Written Statement, and Scheme to Defraud.
Following his arrest, Davis was processed by deputies and issued an appearance ticket. He was released pending a future court appearance.
Davis is scheduled to appear in Farmersville Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
The Sheriff’s Office noted that all charges are accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
