(WNY News Now) – An 18-year-old male sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound in one of two connected shootings reported within 30 minutes in Jamestown Wednesday night.
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — The Jamestown Police Department is investigating two related shooting incidents that occurred on the night of April 22, 2026, in separate locations within the city.
Officers were first dispatched at approximately 9:40 p.m. to the area of East 8th Street near Fulton Street following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, police located an 18-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. Authorities said the injury was non-life-threatening, and the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Roughly 30 minutes later, officers responded to a second report of a shooting at the 7-Eleven store on North Main Street. Police determined that no individuals were injured during that incident.
Preliminary findings indicate that both shootings were targeted and are believed to be connected. Investigators have not released information regarding any suspects or potential motives at this time.
Both incidents remain under active investigation.
