(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown man is facing multiple charges after police said he allegedly threatened two people with a knife while violating an order of protection.

According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the 3rd Platoon responded to a report of a past domestic dispute on the north side of Jamestown at approximately 11:30 p.m. on May 13, 2026.

Police said their investigation found that 51-year-old Peter S. Samuelson allegedly menaced two victims with a knife during the incident. Officers also determined that Samuelson was allegedly in violation of a fully served stay-away order of protection at the time of the incident.

Samuelson was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail without further incident.

He has been charged with one count of first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, one count of second-degree criminal contempt, and two counts of second-degree menacing.

Samuelson was held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
