Pair Of Wanted Jamestown Residents Arrested During Stop

JAMESTOWN – A pair of wanted Jamestown residents were arrested during a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon near the corner of Forest Avenue and Washington Street, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

The driver, Nicole R. Stein, 37, was reportedly wanted in Pennsylvania. Police said she was driving with a suspended license. She was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and improper/no turn signal.

The passenger, David H. VanGuilder, 42, allegedly provided officers with a false name, and they discovered that he had several outstanding warrants from the City of Jamestown and a warrant from Pennsylvania.











VanGuilder is charged with second-degree criminal impersonation and being a fugitive from justice, in addition to the several warrants.

Both were taken to Jamestown City Jail without incident.
