FALCONER – Ellicott Police have charged a Kennedy man following an investigation of a suspicious person at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday in Falconer.

Joshua Cook, 29, of Kennedy, originally gave police a false name, police said, adding he had an active arrest warrant against him. While searching Cook, police reportedly found a pair of metal knuckles and an amount of crystal methamphetamine.

Cook was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and false personation. He was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail pending arraignment.
