Lakewood Woman Charged With DWI

ELLICOTT – A Lakewood woman was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated after New York State Police said she drove drunk on I-86 Tuesday.

Troopers said Sarah Hallberg, 56, was pulled over after she was allegedly driving recklessly near exit 12.

Investigators said Hallberg failed several standard field sobriety tests. She was taken to the Jamestown State Police Barracks where she allegedly blew a .21 breath sample.

Troopers said Hallberg was processed, issued tickets and released. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court later this month.
