Cold Spring Man Charged With Menacing

COLD SPRING – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a man pointing a shotgun at someone and also striking the person.

Joshua W. John, 38, of 486 South Loop Road, Coldspring, was charged with second-degree menacing at 6:19 p.m., Friday after the alleged incident on South Loop Road.

Deputies said John was also charged with fourth-degree possession of a weapon, felony DWI and not wearing a helmet while operating an ATV.











He was arraigned in Town of New Albion Court and held without bail following two previous felony convictions and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail.
