NAPOLI – A 22-year-old man suffered serious injuries after the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office said he was assaulted by two men early Saturday morning at a Napoli residence.
Deputies alleged that Mathew W. Beaver, 30, of 13365 Rt. 438, Gowanda, and Dashawn A. Hamilton, 27, of 17 Sandrock Road, Buffalo, assaulted the man with a “dangerous instrument” following a verbal argument at the residence.
Beaver and Hamilton were charged with second-degree assault. Deputies said the two were remanded to Cattaraugus County Jail.
A female, Corie Royce, 37, 13365 Route 438, Gowanda, was charged with tampering with evidence and released on $1,000 bail. Royce was released on bail.
The victim was taken to UPMC Hamot Hospital with serious injuries. Deputies did not update his condition.
They almost killed him and only 5000 bail where is justice. This is what’s wrong with our justice system!
