Jamestown Police Seek Man Who Allegedly Approached 12-Year-Old

JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police said they are investigating a suspicious situation involving a male adult approaching a 12-year-old Friday morning as the child was walking to school on Burr Place at Price Street.

According to police, the man reportedly drove up alongside the child, offered the child a ride to school and reportedly requested the child’s phone number.

Police additionally said that the child didn’t communicate with the man went directly to Washington Middle School and immediately reported the incident.











Jamestown Police said the vehicle was described as a red pick-up truck with chrome wheels and the man is further described as being a black male with a high ponytail in his hair.
