Man Shot Multiple Times During Overnight Shooting

JAMESTOWN – A 22-year-old man was shot multiple times during an early morning shooting on Charles Street at Newland Avenue Saturday, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Police said they responded to reports of shots fired just after 3:30 a.m.

Upon arrival officers discovered the 22-year-old who was shot multiple times in the leg.











The man was taken to UPMC Hamot for treatment. Police said currently the victim is not cooperating with investigators.

Police are asking anyone with information on the shooting to contact their anonymous tip line at 716-483-TIPS (8477).
