MEADVILLE (Pa.) – A Lakewood man is scheduled for sentencing Friday afternoon after previously pleading guilty to a sex offense in Crawford County.

Donald C. Shriver, 74, plead guilty in April to a third-degree felony charge of corruption of minors, according to court records obtained by WNYNewsNow.

In exchange for the plea from Shriver, charges of unlawful contact with a minor – sexual offenses, first-degree misdemeanor charges of indecent assault of a person less than 13, endangering the welfare of children and criminal attempt-indecent assault of a person less than 13 were dropped.

Shriver allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with a 12-year-old male during a time period of Aug. 18-20, 2017, on South Wayland Road, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.
