Olean Police Arrest Four In Drug Raid On Garden Avenue

OLEAN – Two Olean residents and two Buffalo residents were charged with various drug-related counts after the Olean Police Department Emergency Response team executed a search warrant from the Street Crime Unit Thursday evening at 753 Garden Ave.

Investigators said they had received several complaints of possible drug sales at the apartment. Crack cocaine, Methamphetamine, Heroin and drug paraphernalia were located inside the residence, police said. The Cattaraugus County sheriff’s K-9 and the task force assisted during the search of the apartment.

Dwayne A. Higgs, 39, of 101 Kehr St., Buffalo, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a narcotic drug (7 grams of crack), third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, tampering with physical evidence, possession of a hypodermic needle and unlawful possession of marijuana.


Police said Higgs also had a warrant for parole obsonding for drug charges out of Erie, Pa., and a warrant from Niagara Falls charging seventh-degree criminal possession.

Tunnisha R. Lissmore, 41, 237 Sprenger Ave., Apt. 2, Buffalo, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine).

Kyle D. Giardini, 19, of 753 Garden Ave., Olean, was charged with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of a hypodermic needle.



Jamie L. See, 34, of 753 Garden Ave., Olean, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of a hypodermic needle.

Higgs and Lissmore were held pending arraignment. Giardini and See were issued appearance tickets for a later date in Olean City court.
