WEST ELLICOTT – Police have made an arrest in connection with an armed robbery at the Keystone Food Mart, 575 Fairmount Avenue, Wednesday.

Luis M. Gonzalez, 26, was arrested by Jamestown Police and charged with first-degree robbery in connection with the case.

Investigators said a second suspect is in custody on an unrelated charge and more charges could be pending in relation to the armed robbery.

Previously, Kubinski believed two Hispanic males entered the store with a weapon and displayed it before leaving the store in what, upon further review, appeared to be a small white car with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Kubinski said that the car appeared to head towards Jamestown.

Jamestown Police, the Metro Drug Task Force, Lakewood-Busti Police, and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
