Erie Man Arrested After Police Allegedly Find Methamphetamine During Stop

ELLICOTT – An Erie, Pa. man is facing drug charges following traffic stop by the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force on I-86 Exit 12 Friday.

David V. Flannigan, 39, is charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Investigators said quantity of methamphetamine was located on Flannigan when officers spoke with him.


After a search warrant was obtained to search his vehicle, police said they discovered over five ounces of methamphetamine inside.

Police said Flannigan was held in city jail pending arraignment.

The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force is comprised of members of the Jamestown Police Department, Ellicott Police Department, New York State Police, and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force.
