Pair Charged After Allegedly Assaulting Victim, Burglarizing Apartment

JAMESTOWN – Two men are charged after Jamestown Police said they allegedly entered an apartment unlawfully and assaulted a male victim, causing him to suffer serious injury, Wednesday morning.

Jamestown Police said they responded to 1414 E. 2nd St. for a reported fight. Upon arrival, police said they found the victim lying unresponsive with several lacerations and covered in blood. Police additionally said that David M. Hicks, 25, of Jamestown, and Ronald E. Parsons, 48, of Falconer, allegedly had a dispute with the victim over money.

Hicks and Parsons were taken to Jamestown City Jail without incident. Both are charged with second-degree assault and first-degree burglary.
