FREDONIA – A Cassadaga man was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail after police said he struck a person twice during a domestic incident Wednesday in Fredonia.

Troopers charged Matthew Cassatt, 43, Cassadaga, with second-degree harassment after responding to a Fredonia business.

Police responded to a report of a domestic dispute. Investigation, including review of surveillance videos, revealed that Cassatt followed the victim out of the building and struck the victim twice, troopers said.

Cassatt was previously arrested following a domestic dispute in December 2018.
