ELLICOTT – A City of Jamestown man is facing charges after the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said he allegedly defrauded a local military veteran support organization.

Glenn A. French, 63, is charged with theft of services, criminal impersonation and third-degree forgery.

Following an investigation deputies allege French used an alias and impersonated a veteran to receive services that he otherwise would not be entitled to.

Deputies said French also allegedly forged a document that was later found to be fraudulent.

French is scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date.
