17-Year-Old Girl Attempts To Throw Meth, Heroin While Fleeing Police

JAMESTOWN – A 17-year-old girl is facing charges after Jamestown Police said she attempted to throw methamphetamine and heroin to the ground while running from officers Friday evening.

The teen, who was not identified, is charged with obstructing governmental administration and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police said when investigating, they noticed the teen who attempted to hide from them.


When discovered, the teen then reportedly ran from police. Following a brief foot pursuit police said she was taken into custody.

While walking the girl to a nearby police car, she allegedly attempted to throw methamphetamine and heroin to the ground.
