YORKSHIRE – A Yorkshire man was arrested on a warrant for failure to verify address with sex offender registry Sunday at 3270 Martin Rd., according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
Phillip D. Root, 52, was arraigned at the Machias Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
Root is scheduled to appear in Machias Town Court at a later date.
