Groomsman Arrested In Jamestown Wedding Gift Theft

JAMESTOWN – A groomsman was arrested after allegedly stealing newlyweds’ weddings gifts at the First Lutheran Church, 120 Chandler St., in Jamestown, Friday.

Jamestown Police report Kevin T. Klemens, 30, of Jamestown, allegedly stole the newlyweds’ cards and gifts during a ceremony Friday at the church.

Investigators responded to the couple’s larceny complaint Saturday afternoon.











Police said following an investigation Klemens was charged with petit larceny.

He was arrested and taken to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment, police said.
