NORTH HARMONY – Two people were charged after the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said they discovered a quantity of a controlled substance, marijuana, hypodermic instruments and various drug paraphernalia on them during a traffic stop on South Maple Street Monday morning. 

Michael J. Connolly, 34, of Russell, and Abigail A. Higgins, 29, of Warren, also reportedly have warrants out of Warren County, Pa.

Both were taken to Chautauqua County Jail to await arraignment on the charges of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument and fugitive from justice.
