Police: Man Arrested After Crashing Into Tow Truck Trying To Repossess His Vehicle

JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown man was arrested late Tuesday night after Jamestown Police Officers said he crashed his vehicle into a tow truck that was trying to repossess it.

Officers responded to a reported fight at 239 Newton Ave. just after 11:30 p.m.

Christopher E. Dellahoy, 30, is accused of backing into the tow truck with his Ford F-150 pickup. Dellahoy also allegedly harassed the tow truck operator and then fled into a nearby house prior to officer’s arrival.











Officers were able to locate Dellahoy hiding in a crawl space. Police said he allegedly became belligerent and failed to comply with their commands.

Dellahoy was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown City Jail. During processing at the jail officers allegedly found a quantity of methamphetamine in his possession.

Dellahoy faces several charges including from an outstanding warrant, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.
