JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man faces multiple charges following a domestic incident at an Allendale Avenue address Monday, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Police said Christopher Vega Rivera, 24, allegedly restrained a victim physically and damaged property in front of the victim’s two children.

In addition, Vega Rivera allegedly destroyed the victim’s cell phone while they were trying to call 911 for help.

Officers said Vega Rivera allegedly refused to follow their commands and tried to pull away from them.

Vega Rivera reportedly has a previous conviction in the last five years for domestic violence.

Vega Rivera is charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated family offense, two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief and obstructing governmental administration.









He was taken to Jamestown City Jail to await arraignment.
