ELLICOTT – Two Jamestown residents are charged with endangering the welfare of a child following an investigation Thursday morning at 201 Frederick Blvd., according to the Ellicott Police Department.

Officers said that they allegedly seized what are “possible” drugs and drug paraphernalia. In addition, police said the house was in deplorable condition.

Anastasia M. Axford, 21, and Jeremiah D. Price, 21, were charged as they had their two-year-old present in the house.

Both were taken to the Chautauqua County Jail to await centralized arraignment, and more charges may be pending as police said the investigation is ongoing.

The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and SWAT team, as well as New York State Police, assisted in the investigation.
