Summer Warmth And Humidity Returns This Week

JAMESTOWN – If you are still not ready to let go of summer quite yet, some warmer and muggier air will be working its way into the region over the next several days with a few chances for rain showers through the week.

Temperatures will respond very nicely to plentiful sunshine and a Warm front moving on through.Highs will range 77 in the valleys to 84 near the Lake Erie shoreline with a southwest wind around 10 MPH.

Tonight will start partly cloudy with thickening clouds overnight. Showers and storms will arrive after midnight with an approaching Cold front. With humidity still up, temperatures will only slip back into he lower 60’s to lower 70’s by morning.

A few showers will be around for the morning hours but more widespread rain will arrive late in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 80’s.

Shower chances will remain through the remainder of the work week with temps around average. The weekend is looking dry and seasonable before a warmup returns by early next week.
