WEST ELLICOTT – A Minnesota-based outdoors store that has moved into the former Sam’s Club building on Fairmount Avenue is scheduled to open later this month.
Runnings says they will start operations with a ‘soft opening’ on Thursday, September 26 and host a grand opening sometime in October.
The operation has provided around 50 new jobs to the area.
On Tuesday, a new sign advertising the location was installed between the location’s parking lot and Fairmount Avenue.
In total, the company has 45 stores across the nation employing more than 2,000 people.
The company says they will sell a variety of sporting goods, clothing, footwear, farm supplies and outdoor equipment.
