Chautauqua Region Community Foundation Director To Be Honored By Girls Scouts

BUFFALO – The Director of the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation will be honored by the Girls Scouts of Western New York this week during the group’s annual 2019 Women of Distinction Dinner and Awards Ceremony.

Tory Irgang will be one of nine honorees at the ceremony Thursday at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Buffalo.






As the Executive Director of the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, Irgang is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Foundation’s 3.3 million dollars of grants and scholarships.

Previously, Irgang served as the Executive Director of the United Way of Southern Chautauqua County working with local officials to fight poverty in Jamestown.



The fundraising event honors women throughout Western New York for their strength in character, dedication to community service and commitment to mentoring and encouraging girls and young women.

The ceremony starts at 5:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
