Woman Charged Following Police Street Check

JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police responded to a business alarm call on the east side of Jamestown at early Saturday, which lead to charges against a Jamestown woman.

Police said they saw two people in the area of the business and questioned them. According to Police, a woman gave a false name because she had outstanding warrants in Jamestown and Lakewood.

Rachelle N. Allison, 33, was arrested after Police found her allegedly in possession of forged checks.











Allison is charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and false personation.

She was being held in the City Jail pending arraignment.
