Jamestown Man Charged With DWI Following Overnight Crash In Panama

PANAMA – A City of Jamestown man is facing charges following a DWI crash in the Village of Panama early Thursday morning.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says that Joseph Lindberg, 22, is charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, speed not reasonable and prudent and moved from lane unsafely.

Deputies said that Lindberg was allegedly driving drunk on Meyers Road at around 3:15 a.m. when he crashed his vehicle.





Lindberg was not injured as a result of the crash although a 23-year-old male passenger in his vehicle did suffer minor injuries.

Deputies said that Lindberg will answer his charges in Town of Harmony Court on a later date.
